Beer vs. MacBook

In the mad rush to get to half-way (at least) on her novel, Ennie had an unfortunate incident.A few drops of beer landed on the bottom right corner of the screen.It quickly spread by capillary action between the backlight and the LCD to cover a good quarter of the screen. It seemed to act like a light pipe for the backlight and concentrated light to where it was. I'm not looking forward to replacing the screen. It's a $150 from ifixit, but there's a crap-load of steps.
