Dakar

So far wer're six days into the Dakar Rally. I guess that's a misnomer in a way since it's no longer going to Dakar.Originally it started off from Paris, France and eventually after two weeks it arrived in Dakar, Senegal. It no longer takes place in Africa since it's too dangerous with the political climate there. For the past three years now it's taking place in Argentina and Chile.Like all things racing, there's risks of course. Few people get really messed up though. It's not nearly as dangerous as full-on motorcross.With the bikes come some other vehicles: quads, cars and trucks!Racing trucks! :-)If I can't ever run in Le Man, I'll do this in a heartbeat!
