Impermanence

An acquaintance -- maybe even friend -- of ours just died.I would say "passed away" but that's speaking in passive voice. That doesn't convey the gravity of the situation.Kelly was someone we knew from the chili cookoff. She's been there every year we were. She was a waitress at Rick's Cafe in Chagrin Falls and she manned the table at the cookoff. She was right next to us two weeks ago. (These pictures are from two years ago BTW)Her apartment caught fire.However and whatever transpired there led to her dying of smoke inhalation at the hospital. She was only 31 years old.  :cry:It makes you think about life. Every day you have might be your last. Make it count. Have fun. Live your life.We'll miss seeing you next to our table at chili next year.
