Making Friends

In a new city when you don't really know anyone it's a lot like dating. You have to get out there and meet people and see how things work and whatnot. It reminds me of sitcoms like "How I Met Your Mother" and the couple-friends episodes.It's funny how that works.Finding peeps to do stuff with... biking... gaming... common activities... interests... stuff.The stuff that happens more organically when you have a network already. Lacking that... well, it's different.As we're settling in we're finally allowing ourselves to take the time to not be in the nesting mode and more of the having fun mode. (Now to just get over the shy bit):-)
