Mercer do-over

A new sign went up this week at my bus stop.My bus stop, coming and going, is going away. The trees too.Yep, that's where the homeless guys camp out.It seems the big Mercer Street project is going forward big time. This is all in conjunction with the fix of the viaduct and the tunnel. The east side, just in front of my building, was just completed and now it's onto the bigger, more severe part. Redoing Aurora Avenue and how it connects to the tunnel.It's interesting to watch billions (over three from what I can find) start to flow into the city. This is a needed upgrade though. The viaduct is a mess (i.e. falling down) and Mercer is a parking lot at rush hour.It's long overdue... but I'll be annoyed for the next five years as this gets done. I'm sure I'll get over it when it's done.  :-)  I'll be a mess in the process though.
