A tourist in Seattle

Our friend Kendra is has been in town for a few days just visiting and generally hanging out.Today was her last day here and today we played Seattle tourists. We had a late start to the day -- hanging out. We first hit the Seattle Underground tour. It's a fun hour and a half about the history of Seattle brought a bit to life by wandering around in what was built over a hundred years ago. And learning about Crappers.After that we walked over to Pike Market and had a nice beer at the Pike Brewery. Walking through the market itself then down to the waterfront was relaxing -- mostly since we were walking downhill for the most part. Then up to the Sculpture Garden across from our old apartment on our way to the Space Needle.We've been here in Seattle for over year and we hadn't gone up.It was kind of dreary with a few drops of rain, but we went up anyway.It didn't rain a bit once we were up.
