Self Review Season

The complaint we all have this time of year is reviews. Even more than reviews are self reviews.I don't know why they are so painful, but they always seem to rank right below things like cleaning the toilet for the most part. Somehow, even cleaning off the whiteboard to a pristine shine was done before anyone really got done with any of it.I suppose the biggest thing I have is a tendency to not toot my own horn. I have to fight that urge because this is the time to do exactly that. To move forward requires a bit of it.Then there are the peer reviews... <sigh/> But you certainly don't want to short shrift your co-workers so that takes time too.Then there's you day job when you need to, you know, actually work!
