Olympics -- No fever for me

Normally I get pretty worked up over the olympics, summer and winter both.This year I feel kind of bad that I'm not interested. I'm getting the same vibe from most of the people around me too. I feel bad for the athletes.The year is the Putin olympics. It's all about a massive circle jerk for him. Proving he's man enough or something. Man enough to catch some dolphins and beat up on the gays. Nothing but more stroking of his already overgrown ego.Sure, you spend over $50,000,000,000 to put on the show, but what does it buy you? Not much it seems.The men and women in the game are there to compete.The organizers were trying to compete with the world.
