Kerning

Today at work we had to print up some signs for an event we were putting on.Our team started in Microsoft Word. Unfortunately we used the font Papyrus. And Word.Here it is in a screenshot from Word:The print out looked as horrid. It's a freaking hot mess. And I'm not even looking at the typeface. Look at the space between the "T" and the "oday". What the hell?Just now I decided to try the same experiment in Pages.The default for the kerning isn't messed up.Not only that, but I can't find how to fix Word so it doesn't look like ass.This is on the same machine with the same exact typeface.What would prompt someone, anyone, to want to make things next to illegible? Arrggghh!!!
