Trip and connection

I'm sitting here writing this at the campground at Barview Jetty.I just got off of FaceTime-ing with Ennie.I have to say that seeing a familiar face (and with face-blindness, doubly so) when I'm on the road is a nice thing.Sitting by the fire and being able to stay in touch with the folks back home just makes things feel that much more comfortable.I'm sure it works the other way too -- knowing that I'm safe and sound at the campground. Especially after the douchbag SUV backing up incident.
