Well, that fucking sucks -- robbed

Yeah... that's what Ennie found in the storage unit after the Public Storage management called her.They didn't cut the lock. They cut the fucking door. Last night... a whole gang of them.Mainly they took my ham radio that I've not gotten back on the air yet (need to hang antennas... but now I need a fucking radio). They also took the expensive camping box.Camping -- serious lightweight camping -- is expensive. One box had around $1700 of camping gear. Stove, cookset, tools, all sorts of small and light things that add up to something expensive.Then the radio... they took it I'm sure thinking "Electronics! Kenwood radio! Score!" The fuckers don't even know how to turn the fucking thing on. It doesn't come with a power cord you can use to plug into the wall. They left the cord that you can plug into 12V to power it.Fuckers.They have a lead for the case.Oh, and if you happen to see a Kenwood TS-2000 serial number B0600039... know that it's stolen.(Oh, since they left the packaging and I'm sure quite banged around I'm not going to put it on the air without it being re-certified as FCC compliant... I'll leave that task to the insurance company... or they could just buy me a new radio if it's ever found)
