Twenty
It was a Saturday on the first day of April back in 1995. Like all Saturdays of that era I was staying up late the night before. Programming during the day, then starting around 7 or 8 I would start getting ready for Rocky. At around 11 we were ready to go for setup. By 11:30 the theater was set for the show. At midnight (or a bit afterward) we'd start the pre-show. Around 12:30 the show would start with some lips that would sing to us all."Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still, but he told us where we stand..."Rocky was a big part of my life. In many ways it still is… it made me a lot of who I am now. Strange and fucked up, I know. While wearing gold underpants. That night I met Ennie and talked for hours at Chuck's Diner across the street. We started going out and dating and all that fun stuff.Four years and some change we were married.Twenty years later we're still a thing.Ups and downs happened, like with anything that lasts as long as that. It goes with the territory. But there's been more up than down. :-)
