Bike Blowout
Today was a beautiful day here in Seattle. The mercury (or at least the thermistor or something) was reading right around 70º and it was sunny. While I had some work to get done before tomorrow I decided to take care of that after the sun went down. After a nice bike ride.I got home, geared up, and just for fun attached a GoPro to my bike (bicycle) and headed out for my ride. Then this happened.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yyoBSKof6AI think the tube was just old. I didn't hit anything at all. It was just cruising around and then whoosh whoosh whoosh. The front tire was as flat as a pancake in five seconds.I should have taken the hint when the tire was a little low before I took it out. After just a week or so it was down to 20psi from the normal 110psi I normally run.Oh well... it makes for some interesting footage I think.I really was going to present the hill that came afterward... but this is way better. :-) The handlebar-mounted camera doesn't really give you a sense of the hill anyway.
