Halloween
Something that we've been dealing with for quite a while is the idea that Halloween in in any way dangerous in any way.Sure. If you keep it up you might get diabetes, but there's been no documented evidence that anything bad has happened in terms of the distributed candy. We have things like the Greenwood Avenue "safe trick or treating" that happened earlier today on (unsurprisingly) Greenwood. It's more of a marketing opportunity than anything. But at the same time both of us are a bit say that we don't get any trick-or-treat-ers.In Solon we got a few -- a trickle at best. We blamed the setback of the houses and lack of density. Here in Seattle we don't have either to blame. The only thing we can think of is being too close to Aurora Avenue (which can get seedy). But it's still disappointing.
