Nearly everything is a coaxially mounted screw retaining the next part. Take a look at some of the cutaways. So much metal all screwed into one another. It make something like an engine seem childish by comparison.No. No, I'm not going to start working on my own lenses like this. I would much rather give some cash to someone that knows what they're doing than leaving some apprentice marks on some quality gear.He also works on more "modern" gear like autofocus lenses and such. Amazing to watch......and so stressful.
