Energy Star - Eh?

Ennie and I were shopping for dishwashers. From talking to the the salesman at Best Buy it seems that the quest for energy efficiency we have found that many (most?) dishwashers have gotten rid of the drying feature.Why? Because it costs energy to heat up the air. And that counts against you in the contest.So, you delete the feature and you bill it as a feature.Of course at the end of this all you have dishes that aren't dry -- and if you don't open it the door right away it also gets smelly. So you wash you damn dishes again.All the energy you saved the first time around is lost -- along with the water.Such stupid. Much asinine.
