A year or so some of my co-workers got together for a brainstorming session. We came up with some ideas. We told them to some of the IP lawyers and they filed a patent on it.Amazon has a metric crapload of patents. We tried to enforce one and got, rightfully, a lot of pushback. Since then we've been getting a lot of defensive patents. Amazon, as it turns out, is a nice juicy target. To make yourself a less juicy target is a very good thing.The patent was filed.And I got a puzzle piece.When the patent is granted I get a blue puzzle piece with my name and the patent number.  :-)
