The draw of B&W

A bunch... maybe half or so... of my pictures I prefer in black and white. I especially love the look of not just the look of black and white, but that of film.The problem with film is that it's not instant. And it's expensive.I have the darkroom setup to develop and print film. I'm not quite sure I want to be printing stuff any more even though I have the enlarger ready to go.But still film has a certain appeal.Every time I think of this I think of picking up a used (and perhaps pre-beat up) Leica M6 or M7 and go out with it and shoot something. I already have the lenses.Go out. Shoot. You can't look.You go home. Work some chemistry magic.And look.
