It's amazing walking through a modern IKEA. IKEA is synonymous with the crap flat-pack furniture that makes it past one, maybe two moves before it disintegrates into the sawdust that it was made from originally.But in the past few years, they've really upped the game a lot.All you have to do is look at a few of the "information" sections with the computers lined up. These exist in the kitchen and cabinet sections mainly. You can just tell this is where they're making the real money. But even though they're making the cash there, it's still so much cheaper than other places -- by a long shot.The older IKEA stuff kind of was a bit crappy. But the new stuff is stuff that I don't mind being out on display.
