Amazon Underground - RIP

The project I was on last year has been officially put out to pasture. (Well, it was announced last week that it would be)

I found out about it like everyone else: Internet news sites. There's a pretty comprehensive article that talks about the upsides and downsides as industry folks see it.

It's interesting looking at all of the work that went into launching the program -- that we had a Jeff Letter on the Amazon homepage.

I guess I picked the right time to move to another team.  :-)  We have our own problems on Merch -- namely we're possibly too successful at the moment!
