2017 - Last night

I have to say that 2017 was a strange year all around. Relationship turmoil. Job stresses. Politics going insane both globally and locally. All around.I know that the year ending on December 31st to begin a new year is arbitrary. If it were based on something like an astronomical event or something one could at least make a weak argument that something different is upon us.If only it were that easy. A line in the sand, or on the hourglass maybe, is just as good as any other I would hope.But given the weirdness of 2017, let's raise a glass to something new. Something, we can all hope, better.
