Crappy little camera might be good enough...

Back to scanning slides today.One of the things I would like to do when scanning the slides I've accumulated is to also scan the slide mounts themselves. People have a tendency to write on the mounts, and that gives important context to the images on them. The mounts are also oftentimes embossed with a date of processing, which gives even more context about the image.I picked up a crappy little USB camera from Amazon. It advertised itself to be a 12MP camera... In actuality, it seems to be 640x480, around 0.3MP, which is a almost 40 times lower resolution.That said, it might just be good enough anyway.
