My slide scanner project is one step closer to completion!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2j_FXKe3yYThe Festool system with the MFT/3 and the TS55 worked admirably. I did notice that the MFT/3 was a bit out of square by a degree or so, but that was easy enough to sort out. And the dest collection from the CT36 was quite good as well; not perfect, but good enough that I wasn't worried about the house becoming more of a mess.Next step: piecing it together and starting to mount cameras in it! I need at least three cameras in there -- I have all of them: a Canon for the slide images, and a pair of Logitech webcams for the images of the slide mounts. I also need to sort out the lighting which will also be important.
