What I wasn’t carrying

For almost the past three years I've had my Leica gear with me just about every day as I was going to work... or basically anywhere.I remember Monday I was expecting a delivery from UPS and it came and I went off to work. I looked at the bag holding my Leica and I decided to leave it home for this time. "I'm only going to be at work for a few hours," so it stayed back.And this is one thing that didn't get damaged in the crash on Monday.Sure, it's all insured and all that. But this is one less thing I have to think of to get fixed.I'm sure that Pemco, the insurance company for the lady that caused the crash, is also thankful that they don't have to buy a $20,000 set of gear in addition to fixing my bike.
