Mortises!

Today I got in a Festool Domino joiner. (Oh, I've also developed an addiction to Festool products, but that's another topic altogether)I'm also collaborating with Jackie to build a table, and this tool will come in handy for that as well. First off, for gluing up the top I'll use some small dominos for alignment of the boards that will make up the top. I'll also use them to make the skirting on the base of the top as well as to make up a simple drawer in the front.I'm still pondering how to mount the legs, and what form they'll have.Honestly, I'm just rather happy with making things -- tangible things. More than I would have expected.I think I'd be rather happy with just retiring from making software and just make furniture or something.
