Location tracking

A couple of days ago I got a phone call, a spam phone call for sure. The thing that really struck me is the location of the call.As I'm writing this I'm sitting in an AirBNB in Manzanita, OR. Manzanita is on the Nehalem River in Oregon. This is a bit too much of a coincidence for me to have a random spam call from the exact place I'm staying at.I have to think that this has to to with location tracking from some site or app that I use or have installed on my phone. My guess is that this is Facebook selling my info to telemarketers and that in turn is used to fill in the blanks of spoofed phone numbers to make it seem "local."Keep in mind that I've not once given my phone number to anyone down here. This has to be someone who has access to both my location and my phone number. This is just messed up.I think there's a good chance I'll delete a bunch of apps from my phone and iPad in response to this; this is just plain creepy.
