Ennie drove me to work today.
As we got off the exit from Aurora to Dexter Ave. N. I glanced up at the homeless encampment that has re-sprouted at the bend.
And some dude stared back as he was taking a shit into a bucket. Such a great way to start my day.
The last time there was an encampment there it took a crew of five most of a week to clean up after the mess that was left by the last set of folks.
And now this.
Fuck this.
There are open beds in the Seattle shelters. This is not compassion we are looking at.
We are looking at people shitting on the side of the road.
