Packing

En and I are well into the time of packing (and the commensurate purging as well) that comes with moving.

We're paying the movers to both move and also pack for us. I'm also going to driving over a little U-Haul that will hold the various things that either the movers won't take or that I really want to have with me. (Think: firearms and computers)

This really then brings up the different distinctions between these. And you can't forget about the invisible third category: things that I trust the movers to move, but not to pack.

Each thing has to have that distinction made.

And much of it stems from the fact that I may or may not have the original packaging for the item in question.

At least we have a month until the trigger goes off for it all.
