Here's the timeline:

  • Last Wednesday our stuff was boxed up
  • Last Thursday our stuff was loaded onto shuttle trucks (our street was way too small and on a hill for a semi) and transferred to a semi somewhere in Seattle
  • Our stuff arrived today at 11 AM in Nashville, TN.

A trucker is legally allowed to drive 14 hours a day.Our trucker, Alexander from Quebec.It's around 34 hours to drive from Seattle to Nashville. He started late on Thursday so I'll call it Friday morning when he got on the road.All of Friday and Saturday and most of Sunday assuming balls-to-the-wall driving to get here.Our original contract was "up to 21 days." We got our stuff in two business days.Amazing.Now we're just wading through a sea of boxes.
