Light

It's amazing how much light pollution is out there. When we moved out here I was hoping that even though we were close-ish to Nashville that we might be able to see the Milky Way... as it turns out we have too much light out here regardless.

Another striking thing about the map is you get a real sense of the eastern half of the US compared to the western half.

So much light. Everywhere.

All that said, it's still darker here than any other place I've lived before.
