Overlooking the San Francisco Mint

Last time I was in San Francisco back in march I was on the top floor of the Pickwick Hotel overlooking the San Francisco Mint.

And I was treated to a spectacular sunset.

I love the mishmash of the modern buildings and the tower cranes with the old smokestacks that harken back to a time when San Francisco had actual industry that made stuff, not just ideas.
