Shifting the narrative
There's something I've noticed in the past week or so online.
Ok, when I mean "online," I'm talking about Reddit for the most part. I'm active on a couple of subreddits, mainly r/SeattleWA and r/nashville. The difference between the two when talking about this virus has been pretty dramatic over the past few months.
The strange thing I've noticed is that the tenor of the discussion has shifted to a lot more "this is not the end of the world" from what it has been. Honestly, the Nashville sub has always been a lot more, what I consider at least, realistic about this.
Seattle has been weird. It started off very much pro-lockdown. But over time that opinion has softened.
Things are shifting.
