Kovászos uborka

The cucumbers in the garden are starting to get ready. I picked a few of the picking cukes today and I started pickles!

Nothing other than salt, water, dill, and garlic. A slice of bread goes on top...

I just had a smell and it smells like when I was growing up. 🥰
