Mental File Folders

As we grow up we slowly get introduced to death. We have aunts and uncles die. Pets die. We slowly get used to the inevitability of death. We get to a point where when someone around us dies we know how to mentally process things a bit.

Most of us don’t have a file folder for someone getting killed.

Echos of the past come back.

All we can hope for is closure and peace for those who are gone.

I truly wish I didn’t have to create that mental folder for this. I wish no one had to.
