I hear about “vibe coding” online where people just prod an AI to make code that might or might not work.

The thing is, you need to at least understand programming to know if something is good or not. No amount of just adding prompts will get you to a solution every time. You need to know what the building blocks are to a program and how they should fit together — so you can make the good prompts to get to a solution.

And even then, you need to understand what it’s doing anyway.
