Engineering

I don’t like to call myself an engineer because I never passed the professional engineering exam. Passing that lets you put your seal on plans stating that you, an engineer, has deemed this safe.

I’m involved with an engineer now — but more on that later.

The things he brings up sound so similar in nature to the stuff I deal with every day at work. The idea of “up to code,” excluding the unfortunate use of the word “code,” is so much the same. Is something designed well, or can you predict that it will fail in the future. Check and check.

Just a little observation.

Neither of us wants to build something that’s going to fall over.
