Packed for tomorrow's trip
All ready to roll!
All the gear packs down nice and small. More on on that stuff later. But suffice to say, Helen2Wheels ROCKS! (we met her shortly before I got the bike -- she was at the open house that BMW Motorcycle of Cleveland threw last year)
Now, you night be wondering about the license plate. If you look closely in the picture of the back of the bike, you'll notice the Hungarian coat of arms. Well, it turns out I'm Hungarian! If the name Burgyan (or rather Burgyán) doesn't give it away... heh. In any case, "utazó" is Hungarian for "traveler." Yes. I added the accent. I'm just hoping that no cop thinks it's bad enough defacement to give me a hard time.
More specifics of this trip: we're taking around 70% of what we'll be taking to Alaska. The biggest difference is lack of a laptop. I don't want to take my work laptop with me, especially since I don't have a good laptop backpack for it. Note to self: buy a laptop backpack.
