On the road to X-Day

Well, both of us got out of work early today. Last night we borrowed En's dad's F-150, and today after we got home we filled it up with all of our camping crap. We wound up just about filling the bed of it with stuff. Real cooking stuff; like a two-burner stove. A massive six-person tent. A cooler full of enough food and beer to get us through the weekend. Well, at least enough food. Chips, snacks... stuff.

In the end this is about as different from the motorcycle camping as we could be, but it's a good test of the offline blogging and such. Hell, you can't blog from on a bike nearly as easily as you can from inside a truck.

Other things I want to try out are iPhone and how well it integrates with Ecto, what I'm using right now. If I get a chance I wouldn't mind trying out MarsEdit as well. We'll have to wait and see if I can grab any Wi-Fi from our camp though.

Last year I could. In the middle of a field. In the middle of nowhere. I still don't know who I leached off of for those couple of days.
