401(k) dreams

We met with our financial advisor last week. She's cool if you happen to be looking for one: Patty Quiñónez. No, for some reason they never get the ~ on the n and the ' on the o. Figures.Anyway, over the past nearly 10 years I've accumulated a lot of cash (well stock mainly) in my insurance.com 401(k). Now is the time to move it over to something else. Last week we called to get Fidelity to cash it out and cut a check.The check came today.It's jarring to see how much I've saved over time. Invisibly.Save early and save often I guess.It's not magic.Tomorrow I'll be dropping that check off and moving on.But it's still odd to think I've saved that much over the years.
