Seattle Pride

En and I went to the Seattle Pride parade today. It was just a few blocks from where we we're staying so it would be a shame to miss it.I took a shit-ton of pictures, but I'm still editing them, so I'll post those in the next day or so. But that's not what this post is about.What was striking is how many big companies marched in the parade.Now, for the sake of full disclosure I've not been to the Cleveland parade, but I've looked at their current sponsor list.I was shocked and stunned by the Seattle parade.Amazon, Microsoft, Verizon, Macy's, Whole Foods, Wells Fargo, Starbucks... the list keeps going.Amazing...And naked bicyclists. And furries. And pony play. And a flying spaghetti monster. And the CSPC.There's a permeating permissiveness here. Somehow these things don't scare off the big companies. Somehow everyone gets along.You know what?I like it here.
