Paranoia

I got a couple lenses a about a month ago. (One of which was involved in the Newegg clusterfuck) One of the incentives to get these lenses was a rebate offer from Canon. (This would've worked from other vendors as well, but regardless)Most rebates I just send in and generally hope that it makes it to the other end successfully. This works on the run-of-the-mill $20-50 stuff. I have pretty good faith in the postal system to accept that it'll make it there.On these two lenses the rebate comes to $500.For this I want a bit of assurance that it not only makes it there, but that I have some proof that it made it there in case Canon decides to contest it.Again, I trust both the mail system and Canon.Trust.But verify.Sometimes paranoia can be a good thing.  :-)
