Shoo fly pie

Today, after taking in a couple of bouts of roller derby we stopped by the infamous Five Point.Walking by you would think the joint is a complete dive.It is.But an awesome dive -- with a cock on duty. (No pictures this time)I had had a hankering for their mac and cheese for a few months now. With bacon. Because bacon is awesome. Especially on and in their mac and cheese.But I digress. Much like I will when I mention that the Fifth Element was on the TV when we walked in... then Hedwig and the Angry Inch.So, having digressed... after the beer and mac and cheese we we confronted by the case that held two slices of pie.Shoo Fly Pie.This being a divey place you would think that the food wouldn't be good. You'd be wrong. One of the few divey places I trust is this place.Neither of us have had Shoo Fly pie. I had to look it up. Snicker now if you want. I'll save you the search: it's molasses pie.Now I know. Now I have to ask: "where were you all my life?"
