Reflecting on relationships

There is so much that society programs us all to hold dear.Take, for instance, the girls' fairytale weddings in all of the Disney (et. al.) movies. You wait around until the Prince Charming comes along an then it's happily ever after. Of course boys are conditioned to try to be Prince Charming as well, so it goes in both directions.It's like there is only one way of doing relationships. And to top it off, society desperately wants to hold you to that bar and will summarily judge if you deviate from the appointed course of action.But people are complex creatures. The Price Charming routine will certainly work for some people, but to hold everyone to that same standard is bogus.For as many different people that are, and possibly even combinations of people, there's going to be some happy place.Why judge?
