😿💔 Jack

Nearly 20 years old. 19 and 8 months.

We got Jack and Zoe in 2002 after we moved into our first house in Solon, Ohio. We picked up this set of littermates from Rescue Village in Geauga County in Ohio.

We lost Zoe, the tortoiseshell girl in the background years ago to cancer. This December we found a lump on Jack, the grey possum-looking guy in the front. He was too old to ethically operate on so we just kept trying to keep him comfortable.

Today we took Jack to the vet one last time. 😭 He had been uncomfortable for the past couple of weeks and the tumors were getting way out of control. It was time.

It’s times like this I really hope for something else after this plane of existence. I truly hope these two amazing kitties are busy playing with each other again.
