Eh Eh
I was going to go to Sisters, Oregon to help Jackie shoot a wedding that was going to happen. The groom’s mother got ill and the wedding was postponed.
But that’s not the point of this.
For some reason, I have a minor superstition whenever I’m flying cross-country: to listen to Lady Gaga’s “Eh Eh.”
It all started more than a decade ago when I was flying to San Francisco from Cleveland after Insurance.com was in the process of being acquired by QuinStreet. I had some music on my iPhone. Eh Eh was on it. Somewhere over the Rockies, it came on. QuinStreet was a mixed bag as far as experiences go — but I was one of the small handful of folks retained post-merger.
Ever since then I have tried to get it on while up in the air flying across the nation.
I have no real idea how and why it stuck. But it did.
Cherry cherry, boom boom.
