A Bad User Experience

Ennie and I watch a bunch of Mythical Kitchen and they recently did a live-stream. It originally aired when I was in Saint Louis with Jackie so I missed it. The thing is is that it wasn’t going to be streaming forever.

The last day is this Sunday.

So I decided to pull the trigger. And of course I spent the next hour trying to get it to show up on my TV. The streaming platform they used was some horseshit thing that had so much DRM that I couldn’t even extend my screen from my laptop to my Apple TV that my TV is hooked up to. Somehow even the HDMI cables I tried didn’t seem to work.

It took me finally opening up Safari when I noticed that that was able to stream it to the TV.

But spending an hour getting things working is not the right way to start things off.
